PACE ANNOUNCES THEIR 2009 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace football team has announced their 2009 football schedule. The Setters will open the season on September 5 with a non-conference game at Salisbury University in Maryland. The Setters will play their first home game of 2009 on Saturday, September 19 against Northeast-10 Conference foe Saint Anselm College at 12:00 pm.
Pace will open their 2009 schedule with back-to-back road games as they will travel to Salisbury University on September 5 at 1:00 pm. The following week on Friday September 11, Pace will play open their conference schedule when they travel to New Haven, CT to take on Southern Connecticut at 7:00 pm
The Setters will return home for three consecutive weeks, opening up Saint Anselm College, Albright College and Assumption College on September 19 and 26 and October 3.
Pace will travel to Easton, MA on Saturday, October 10 for an NE-10 clash against Stonehill College at 1:00 pm before returning home the following week against Bentley College. The October 17 game against Bentley will also be Homecoming Weekend for the Pleasantville campus.
On October 24, the Setters will travel to West Haven, CT for NE-10 against the revived football program of the University of New Haven. Pace will close out October with a home battle against American International College at Pace Field at 12:00 pm.
The Setters will conclude their regular season on the road as they travel to North Andover, MA to take on Merrimack College on Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 pm.
