RYAN WILLIAMS NAMED TO NE-10 ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, MA - Pace University senior guard Ryan Williams (Centreville, VA/Paul VI) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Basketball All-Conference First Team. This is Williams' second straight All-Conference Fist Team selection, as he was named to the first team last season. Williams was also named a preseason All-American Honorable Mention by the Sporting News this season.

Williams finished his stellar four-year Pace career tied for second on the schools all-time scoring list with 1,892 points and ranked sixth on the all-time steals list with 175. Williams also rewrote the schools three-point record book, as he leaves Pace as the all-time leader in career three-pointers (340), single-season threes (115) and three-pointers made by a freshman (88). Williams also set the school freshman record for points with 458, on his way to being named the NE-10 Co-Freshman of the Year, as well as being named to the conference All-Rookie Team.

Williams played in all 28 games this season for Pace (14-14, 13-9 NE-10), while making 27 starts, logging in 35.8 minutes per contest, good for sixth in the NE-10. He scored a league-best 550 points on the year, averaging 19.6 points per game, good for second in the conference, while shooting 44.2% (180-for-407) from the field, including 41.0% (89-for-217) from beyond the arc and 78.9% (101-for-128) from the free throw line. Williams' conference leading 89 three's on the season ranked him second in the conference in three-point field goals per game, while also ranking ninth in the conference in three-point field goal percentage and 12th in free throw percentage. Williams also averaged 4.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Nationally in Division II, Williams ranks 16th in scoring, 14th in three-point field goals per game and 34th in three-point field goal percentage.
