KENT ST. CHARLES FINISHES TIED FOR 51ST IN NCAA DIV II GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

DANIELS, WV - Pace University men's golfer, sophomore Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells), finished his three day run representing the university at the NCAA Div. II Men's East Regional Golf Championships in an eight way tie for 51st place with a total score of 242 (+26).

St. Charles struggled on the first day of the championships shooting an 85. He rebounded very nicely though on day two shooting his lowest round of the championships with a 78. St. Charles started the final day in a tie for 63rd place, but made a very strong push with a final round score of 79 which was good enough to put him in a tie for 51st place for the event.

The best individual score of the championships was a 224 by Emmanuel Charmat from Concordia College. The winning team was Indiana University of Pennsylvania who shot a total team score of 915. The East Regional Championships were hosted at the Resort at Glade Springs.
