MATHEIS NAMED USILA HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICAN
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Senior goalkeeper Timothy Matheis (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) was named as an Honorable Mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Matheis had a solid senior season in net for the Setters, posting an 11.32 goals against average, while recording 198 saves on the season. He led the Northeast-10 Conference this season with 14 saves per game and was thirteenth in the nation in Division II with a 56.8% save percentage.
In his four seasons with Pace, Matheis played in 53 games, posting 20 wins and a 9.92 goals against average, good for sixth in Pace history. His 644 saves places him second all-time in school history.
