MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SEVENTH AT
FORDHAM UNIVERSITY RAM CROSS
COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
RIVERDALE, NY - The Pace University men's cross country team finished seventh out of nine teams, with a team time of 2:41:46 at the Fordham University Ram Cross Country Invitational held at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, NY. Saint Joseph's won the event with a team time of 2:14:12.
Junior Enrick Garcia (Moriches, NY/St. John the Baptist) led the Setters finishing 27th with a time of 28:24. Classmate Kency Gilet (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet Senior) was the second Setter to cross the finish line with a time of 32:02, good for 52nd place. Ryan Hays of Columbia came in first with a time of 26:10.
Sophomores Mike Vitale (Mahopac, NY/Mahopac)
(32:39/56), Nick Molnar (Antioch, IL/Brunswick)
(32:53/58) and Ben Ogden (Alexandria, NH/Newfound
Regional) (35:48/63) rounded out Pace's afternoon.
