MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS COMPETE IN THE 2009 DICK

WEST POINT, NY- The Pace University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the 2009 Dick Shea Open over the weekend which was hosted at the campus of Army University. Over 23 Colleges, and 800 individuals, from around the country competed in the competition.

Safia McNeishie (Sharon Hill, PA/Ridle) had a great run in the women's 100 Meter dash finishing in 21st place with a time of 14.38. Kiersten Albrecht (Samsonville, NY/Shokan) put in Pace's best individual performance of the competition finishing in 15th place in the women's Shot Put with a distance of 9.80 m.

Ken Hoaag (Allendale, NY/Northern Highlands) led the men's team with a solid effort in the men's Javelin throw finishing 20th with a throw of 39.23 m. John Induisi (Davie, FL/St. Thomas Aquinas  HS) ran well in the men's 100 Meter dash for the Setters finishing in 39th place with a time of 12.54.

The Track and Field teams for Pace University will be back in action on Saturday, April 4 to compete in the Wagner Invitational in Staten Island, NY.
