PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University lost to the New York Institute of Technology, 3-0 (36-34, 30-22, 30-25) in a non-conference match-up at the Goldstein Fitness Center on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. Pace drops to 8-14 overall while NYIT improves to 13-5.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS ST. MICHAEL’S, 3-0
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s volleyball team defeated the St. Michael’s College Purple Knights, 3-0 (30-18, 30-27, 30-24) in a Northeast 10 conference match up held in the Goldstein Center on the campus of Pace University. The Setters improve to 8-13 overall and 6-4 in the Northeast 10, while the Purple Knights fall to 7-9 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

NEW HAVEN, CONN. – The Pace University women’s volleyball team defeated Southern Connecticut 3-1 (30-28, 30-21, 23-30, 30-19) in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up Tuesday night in the Pelz Gymnasium. The Setters improve to 7-12 overall and 5-4 in the NE-10, while the Owls fall to 5-13 on the season and 0-5 in conference play.

SETTERS RALLY TO KNOCK OFF FRANKLIN PIERCE, 3-2
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace University women’s volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to top the Ravens of Franklin Pierce, 3-2, in a thrilling Northeast-10 Conference match-up at the Goldstein Health, Fitness and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. Franklin Pierce the first two games, 30-21 and 30-26, but the Setters rallied to take the final three, 30-27, 32-30 and 15-9.

Women’s Volleyball loses to Falcons, 3-1
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s volleyball team lost to the Bentley College Falcons, 3-1 (25-30, 18-30, 30-21, 30-21) in a Northeast 10 conference match up held in the Goldstein Center on the campus of Pace University. The Setters fall to 5-12 overall and 3-4 in the Northeast 10, while the Falcons go to 13-5 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

SETTERS BOUNCE BACK TO BEAT MERCY, 3-1
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s volleyball team bounced back from losing the first game, 30-28, to win the final three, 31-29, 30-25 and 30-20, in a non-conference match-up with Mercy College at the Goldstein Health, Fitness and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. The win moves Pace to 4-10 overall while Mercy drops to 1-9 on the season.

GARDEN CITY, NY- The Pace University women's volleyball team lost a non-conference match-up to Adelphi University, 3-1. Adelphi took the first two games of the match, 30-20 and 30-27 before Pace bounced back to win the third game, 30-28. Adelphi would win the fourth and clinching game, 30-22. Pace drops to 2-9 overall while Adelphi goes to 8-1 on the year.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s volleyball team notched their second victory of the season over the Merrimack Warriors 3-0 (30-26, 30-24, 30-21) in a Northeast 10 conference match up. With the win, Pace improves to 2-8, 1-1 in NE-10. Merrimack drops to 1-5, 0-2 in NE-10.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University lost their 2006 home opener, 3-0 (30-28, 30-23, 30-22) to UMass Lowell, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at the Goldstein Health, Fitness and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. With the loss, Pace falls to 1-8 overall and will start their NE-10 schedule at 0-1. UMass Lowell improves to 5-4 overall and stand at 1-0 in conference play.

WEST HAVEN, CT- The Pace University women’s volleyball team lost a close match to the University of New Haven, 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 30-25) in a non-conference match-up in West Haven, CT. The loss puts Pace at 1-7 on the year while New Haven improves to 3-2.

VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO HOST DOWLING
OAKDALE, NY- The Pace University women’s volleyball team lost to Dowling College, 3-1, in a non-conference at the 2006 Dowling College Tournament. Pace lost the first game, 30-26, before bouncing back to win the second game, 30-27. Dowling would win the final two games, 30-24 and 30-21, to close out the match. Pace drops to 1-2 on the year.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS AT DOWLING TOURNAMENT
OAKDALE, NY- The Pace University women’s volleyball team opened the 2006 season at the Dowling Tournament hosted by Dowling College, coming away with a split in today’s two games. The Setters lost to Kutztown University, 3-0 (30-19, 30-16 and 30-10) before bouncing back in the nightcap with a 3-0 victory over Nyack College, 3-0 (30-18, 30-22 and 30-22) to start the year at 1-1.

SETTERS SET TO SWING INTO ACTION
The 2005 season marked a swing in the right direction for 2nd year head coach Dan Altro’s Pace University women’s volleyball team. The Setters closed out the year at 13-13 overall and 8-6 in the Northeast-10 Conference, clinching the 8th and final spot in the NE-10 Tournament, which took place in Pace’s Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center.
