DAGOSTINI NAMED TO NE-10 VOLLEYBALL ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM
SOUTH EASTON, MA Senior setter Ashley DAgostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) has been named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball All-Conference Second Team. DAgostini was vital in helping lead Pace to a 9-5 record in the NE-10 (13-16 overall) and a third straight appearance in the conference tournament as the fifth seed, falling in the semifinals against eventual tournament champions Bryant University. DAgostini was also named to the All-Tournament team averaging 12.17 assists in two Northeast-10 Tournament matches.

VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO #1 SEED BRYANT IN NE-10 SEMIFINALS
WALTHAM, MA The 5th seeded Pace University womens volleyball team fell to the #1 seeded Bulldogs of Bryant University in the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament 3-0 (30-21, 30-27 and 30-23) at the Dana Center in Waltham, Massachusetts. The Setters end their season with an overall record of 13-16, while the Bulldogs improve to 29-12 on the season and advance to the finals of the conference tournament where they will square off against Merrimack College, who defeated the host Bentley College in the other semifinal match. The final is set for 7:00 pm tonight.

WALTHAM, MA- The Pace volleyball team defeates Franklin Pierce 3-0 (30-19, 30-25, 30-27) to advance to the Northeast-10 Tournament semifinals, where the Setters will face the #1 seeded Bulldogs of Bryant University on Saturday, November 10 at 2 pm.

VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO NYIT IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE
OLD WESTBURY, NY- The Pace volleyball team wrapped up its regular season schedule with 3-1 (17-30, 30-28, 19-30, 22-30) loss to New York Tech. The Setters end the regular season with a 12-15 record and prepare for the postseason as they have secured the #5 seed in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament set to begin Friday at Bentley College.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA- The Pace volleyball team wrapped up its Northeast-10 Conference regular season schedule with a 3-0 loss to Merrimack College. The Setters fall to 12-14 overall and 9-5 in the NE-10, securing the #5 seed for the Conference Tournament to begin on Friday at 7:30 pm at Bentley College.

VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS UMASS-LOWELL, 3-1
LOWELL, MA The Pace University womens volleyball team downed the River Hawks of the University of Massachusetts Lowell in four games, 3-1, in Northeast-10 Conference volleyball action Friday night. After dropping the opening game 18-30, Pace would go on to win the next three games 30-26, 30-20 and 30-19 to take the match. The Setters improve to 12-13 on the season and 9-4 in the NE-10, while the River Hawks fall to 12-21 overall and an even 7-7 in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Pace University volleyball team defeated the Yellow Jackets of American International College in three straight sets, 3-0 (30-15, 30-8, 30-21) this afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball match at the Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center on Paces Pleasantville Campus. With the win Pace improves to 11-13 on the season and 8-4 in the NE-10, while American International falls to 5-11 overall and 3-9 in conference play.

VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO BRYANT IN FIVE, 3-2
PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Pace University volleyball team fell to the Bulldogs of Bryant University in a heartbreaker, 3-2 this afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference match at the Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center on Paces Pleasantville Campus. The Setters came out strong taking the first two games 30-24 and 30-28, but the Bulldogs would fight back taking the next three games 30-19, 30-28 and 17-15 for the victory. Pace falls to 10-13 and 7-4 in the NE-10, while Bryant improves to 24-12 overall and a perfect 13-0 in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Setter volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 win over the Skyhawks of Stonehill College 3-0 (30-15, 30-28, 30-23) in a Northeast-10 Conference match. Pace improves to 10-12 and 7-3 in the NE-10, while the Skyhawks drop to 9-19 and 4-8 in conference play.

NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE NAMES 2007 VOLLEYBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS
Junior Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) and seniors Rebecca DePaoli (Brewster, NY/North Salem) and Ashley DAgostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) were all named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball All-Academic Teams. Furka was named to the All-Academic Second Team compiling a cumulative 3.54 GPA majoring in Childhood Education, while DePaoli and DAgostini were both named to the All-Academic Third Team. DePaoli has amassed a 3.85 cumulative GPA as Business Management major, while DAgostini has accumulated a 3.61 GPA in Communications.

VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO ADELPHI IN NEUTRAL COURT MATCH
MANCHESTER, NH Rebecca DePaoli (Brewster, NY/North Salem) led the Setters with 10 kills and added 11 digs as Pace fell to Adelphi 3-1 (23-30, 19-30, 30-24, 29-31) in a non-conference match played at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. The Setters earlier in the day defeated Saint Anselm 3-0 and their overall record moves to 9-12 on the season.

Pace improves to 6-3 on the season, while C.W. Post falls to an even 9-9 on the year.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Pace University womens volleyball team continued their solid early season play as the Setter battled back from dropping the first game to win the next three and win their second consecutive match against the University of Bridgeport. The Setters fell in the first game 24-30, but took home the victory by winning the next three 30-25, 30-27, and 30-27 to move above the .500 mark to 2-1 overall . The Purple Knights drop to 7-5.

COLCHESTER, VT The Pace University womens volleyball team won three straight games after falling in the first game to rally past the Purple Knights of Saint Michaels College in the Setters Northeast-10 Conference opener. The Setters fell in the first game 23-30, but took home the victory by winning the next three 30-20, 30-25, and 30-25 to post their first victory of the young season and improve to 1-1 and 1-0 in conference play. The Purple Knights drop to 2-3 and remain winless in the NE-10 at 0-2.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Pace University womens volleyball team opened their 2007 campaign with a heartbreaking loss to local non-conference rival Mercy College tonight at the Goldstein Health, Fitness and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. The visiting Mavericks took the first two games 30-26 and 30-28, but the Setters would force a fifth game taking the next two games 30-16 and 31-29. Mercy would take the hard fought match winning the final game 19-17. The Mavericks improve to 3-1 on the year, while the Setters drop to 0-1.

VOLLEYBALL PICKED TO FINISH 7TH IN THE NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE
SOUTH EASTON, MA The Pace University womens volleyball team has been picked to finish seventh in the Northeast-10 Conference in 2007 receiving 133 points, as determined by the conferences 15 head coaches. The Setters finished 2006 with an 8-6 record in conference play, good for 7th in the NE-10, clinching their second straight appearance in the conference tournament.
