FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR
SOUTH EASTON, MA- The Pace University women's basketball team received a huge individual honor on Friday as Brittany Shields (Cold Springs, NY/Haldane) has been named as the Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Year. Shields now becomes the first Pace player in school history to ever win the NE-10 Freshman of the Year award.

Shields currently ranks 12th in the conference in scoring, 5th in the NE-10 rebounding, and 3rd in field-goal percentage at 52.6%.
