WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO LE MOYNE

SYRACUSE, NY - The Pace women's soccer team lost to the Dolphins of Le Moyne College 5-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Setters drop to 2-6-0 overall and 2-5-0 in the NE-10, while the Dolphins improve to 4-1-2 and 2-1-1 in conference play.

The Dolphins got on the board early as Jackie Coe netted the game's first score in the second minute of play. Riane Fletcher would tally three goals on the day, while Megan O'Shea contributed one goal and a pair of assists.  

The Dolphins edged out the Setters in shots 13-12, while Pace held the advantage in corner kicks 6-5.

Setter goalkeeper Breanna Gault (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) guarded the nets in the first half and most of the second half, allowing four goals and recording five saves. Freshman Monique Morey (Port Orchard, WA/South Kitsap) saw action in the final nearly 22 minutes, allowing one goal.

The Setters return to action on Saturday, October 4 when they will host Franklin Pierce University in a Northeast-10 Conference game scheduled for 3:00 pm at Pace's Briarcliff campus.
