WOMEN'S SOCCER DROPS TO NE-10 OPPONENT NEW HAVEN
BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Pace women's soccer team fell to new Northeast-10 Conference member University of New Haven 4-0 this afternoon. The Setters drop to 2-10-0 overall and 2-9-0 in the NE-10, while the Chargers improve to 8-6-1 and 6-4-0 in conference play.
The Chargers' Holly Dawson (Banffshire, Scotland) had New Haven's first two goals on the day, the first coming in the 31st minute of play and netted her second in the 60th minute of play. Selina Moylan (County Clare, Ireland) and Alexa DellaRocco (Hamden, CT) accounted for the final two goals on the day for the Chargers.
Setter goalkeeper Breanna Gault (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) went 74+ minutes guarding the net, allowing three goals and posting six saves. Monique Morey (Port Orchard, WA/South Kitsap) came on in relief, finishing out the final 15+ minutes, allowing one goal.
The Setters return to action on Saturday, October 18 when they travel to Waltham, MA to take on Bentley University in a Northeast-10 Conference game scheduled for 11:00 am.
